VIN lookup modes
PartsVin tries PartsLink24 first and falls back to TecDoc. With PartsLink24 it lists main groups, subgroups and exact OEM parts, and search returns matching OE parts directly. With TecDoc it lists categories and their parts, and the same keyword returns matching categories instead of parts.
Cache layout
Caches are plain files in the plugin data directory on the server, not in a database. Each folder holds one kind of data:

File names are hashes of the lookup key. Each entry is a .json file, and an image is stored next to it as a .bin file.
Entries never expire; deleting one forces a fresh lookup. A damaged file is logged, deleted and fetched again. Shop prices, the cart and order history are never cached, and losing the cache costs only lookup speed.
Packaged skill
The packaged Parts skill is loaded by core's native skill-directory loader; account grants and skill visibility remain host-owned. Implementation details cover the surrounding runtime.
