Slash Commands

Type / in chat to see commands available on that surface. The list changes with your permissions and enabled plugins.

Conversation commands

Command	Use
`/new`	Start a fresh conversation.
`/clear`	Clear the current Web or CLI conversation in place.
`/stop`	Stop the running turn.
`/stats`	Show model, context, and usage information.
`/help`	Show the commands available here.
`/compact`	Summarize older conversation history. In the CLI and Web, add text after the command to steer what is kept.

Model and mode commands

Command	Use
`/model`	Choose a different configured model.
`/reasoning`	Choose a reasoning level supported by the model. In the CLI, `/reasoning show` toggles Thought rows; in Web chat the same popover carries their switch.
`/fast on\|off\|status`	Turn Fast on or off for the current model, or inspect it. A bare `/fast` toggles it.
`/plan`	Select Plan mode for this conversation.
`/build`	Select Build mode for this conversation.
`/workflow`	Select Workflow mode for this conversation.
`/goal`	Create or manage a persistent goal in Web or CLI.

In chat channels, only administrators can switch the work mode with these commands, and the mode belongs to that channel's conversation. /compact, /goal, /fast and /restart leave a row with their outcome in the conversation, and the agent sees it too. See Brain & Chat.

CLI commands

/sessions and /resume open the conversation picker. /resume <number or id> switches straight to a conversation.
/rename renames a conversation in the CLI or Web chat. /delete removes a conversation after you confirm. /export [html|jsonl] saves the conversation to the current directory as an HTML transcript (the default) or a JSONL file. /delete and /export are CLI commands.
/project opens a list of your Projects and switches this conversation to the one you pick. /project <slug|id> switches directly: it matches the Project's slug first, then its numeric ID. Managed Projects run in their own container, so this is the way to move a CLI conversation into one.
/cd [path] changes the CLI working directory; with no argument it reports the current one. It moves only the terminal (! commands, @ paths), not the Project the conversation runs in.
/keybinds opens the keyboard-shortcut editor. See CLI Keybinds.
/context shows the CLI context breakdown.
/theme switches the terminal color theme; /paste attaches an image from the system clipboard; /editor composes the draft in your $EDITOR.
/yolo [on|off] automatically approves tool requests for this session. /maskot shows or hides the flame mascot.
/tasks opens this conversation's task list when the todo plugin is enabled; also available in Web chat.
/tools inspects the plugin tools active in the current conversation and who owns them.
/subgoal adds or removes subgoals on the current persistent goal.
/statusline chooses what the bottom status bar shows when the statusline plugin is enabled. See Usage & Costs.
/lsp shows language-server diagnostics and lets an administrator turn them on or off, when the LSP plugin is enabled. It is available in the CLI only.
/skills lists and manages skills when the Skills plugin is enabled. It is available in the CLI and Web chat.
/mcp inspects configured MCP servers when the MCP plugin is enabled. It is available in the CLI only.
/quit exits the CLI; /exit is an alias.

Channel and administrator commands

/context in supported chat channels lets you continue the channel in one of your conversations.
/project switches a supported channel conversation to one of your Projects, the same way it does in the CLI.
/display configures live tool use and answer delivery in that channel, where the chat adapter supports it.
Voice notes on Discord, Telegram and WhatsApp use Settings → Voice mode. Elowen transcribes them and replies with text and a voice note for linked accounts with the voice grant.
/restart requests a daemon restart. It is available to administrators on every surface: Web, CLI, and supported chat channels.

Plugin commands appear only when their plugin is enabled and the command is available to your account. When the Skills plugin is enabled, each skill you can invoke appears in the menu as /skill:<name>, and skill changes apply on the next turn without restarting the daemon.
