Find a feature with Ctrl+K

A command palette opens pages and sections from a single search instead of making you browse through navigation. Its results are limited to features available in your current instance and account.

Open the palette

Press Ctrl+K on Windows/Linux or ⌘K on macOS. The palette opens with its search field ready. Press the same shortcut again or Escape to close it; focus returns to the control that opened it. On a phone, use an available launcher if you do not have a hardware keyboard.

Search and choose

Type a word or phrase. With an empty query, the palette offers page and section shortcuts. As you type, select a matching result with the pointer, or move with the arrow keys and press Enter. Search matches localized page and setting names and related terms. The guide search also finds matching documentation. The list adapts to the screen; on narrow phones, the route hint is hidden to leave room for result names.

If search cannot help

Optional semantic navigation ranking can suggest destinations when ordinary matching returns too few results. It requires an embedding provider; if one is unavailable, that ranking is skipped and ordinary text search remains usable. This is separate from Ask AI about “…”: the AI answer is another optional action, not something typing sends. Clicking it requests an answer from the product guide and may also suggest pages; an answer requires a model configured for this feature. It does not use your private chat history. If the guide answer is not enough, choose Ask in chat to bring the question to a conversation. See Brain & Chat and Find and resume a conversation.
