Follow Chetty's replies in WhatsApp

You write to Chetty in WhatsApp as you would to a colleague. It reports what it is doing, sends one finished answer and can also send you pictures, files and results of scheduled tasks.

While Chetty works

  • A short message keeps updating while Chetty works, so you can see which step is running.
  • Emoji reactions on your own message show that Chetty picked it up and when it finished.
  • The answer arrives once it is complete. Long answers are split into several messages of up to 4,000 characters, so read them in order.
  • A grey line under the answer holds the model and how much of the conversation it used.

Each chat has its own conversation

Every chat keeps its own conversation with Chetty, so what you discussed in one chat is not part of another. Send /new to start a fresh conversation there.

Pictures and files

  • Chetty reads your pictures up to 5 MB; a larger picture is only noted, not read.
  • Files Chetty sends you arrive as documents with their names kept, up to four per answer and 25 MB each.
  • When one picture or file cannot be delivered, the rest and the answer text are not sent, and the chat receives a failure notice instead. Ask for a smaller file, or for fewer files at once.

Questions and menus

  • Chetty asks up to four questions at once, each with up to 25 answers. Reply with the number of the answer you want.
  • Longer menus, such as a list of models, show 18 entries per page with Previous page and Next page rows. Reply with the number of the row.
  • A menu stays open for about six minutes. After that, ask again.

Messages Chetty sends on its own

Results of scheduled tasks, important notices and restart messages arrive in the notification chat your administrator set. You do not need to be writing to Chetty at that moment; the message simply appears.

If it does not work

  • A picture is only mentioned, not read. It was larger than 5 MB. Send a smaller version or take the photo again with a lower quality.
  • The answer stops halfway and a failure notice follows. One attachment was too large for WhatsApp. Ask Chetty to send the files one by one.
  • The menu does not answer any more. It expired after about six minutes. Send the request again.
