Use a skill in a conversation
Get a saved procedure into the current conversation, either by asking for it or by letting a matching description bring it in.
Let Chetty choose
Each skill carries a description of when it applies, and that description is the trigger Chetty sees before loading the procedure:
Use when preparing the weekly customer-support report.
Only skills visible to the current turn are considered, so a skill from a plugin your account cannot use is never offered. A narrow description keeps a skill from loading for unrelated requests.
Load a skill by name
- In the Web UI or the CLI, type
/skill:and the exact skill name. - Press Enter. Chetty loads that skill's instructions before it answers.
/skill:deploy-checklist
To browse instead of typing a name, use /skills and pick the skill in the picker. A manual-only skill can still be loaded this way.
Use a short name shortcut
- Type
/followed by the skill name, for example/deploy-checklist. - Check the name you picked in the command suggestions before sending.
The shortcut exists only for names of up to 32 characters that do not clash with a built-in command. For anything else, use /skill:<name>.
Keep a skill manual only
Turn Show to agent automatically off in the Skills manager, or add disable-model-invocation: true to the skill's file. Both keep the skill available through /skill:<name> and /<skill-name> while removing it from automatic selection.
Let Chetty list or load
The assistant uses the same operations you do:
ListSkillslists the skills available to the conversation.SkillLoadloads one by exact name.CreateSkillsaves a new skill, andDeleteSkillremoves a custom skill you are allowed to manage. Both are described in Create a reusable procedure as a skill.
When a change takes effect
A change to grants, ownership or tool policy applies from a later conversation turn. A change to which plugins are enabled applies after Chetty restarts. A turn already in progress is not rewritten.
