Follow Chetty's replies in Telegram

In a Telegram chat Chetty works like a colleague: it says what it is doing, then sends one answer. Photos, documents and voice notes all work.

While Chetty works

  • One short message keeps changing and names the step that is running, for example reading a file.
  • Emoji reactions on your own message show that Chetty picked it up and when it finished.
  • The answer arrives once it is complete. Long answers are split into several messages of up to 4,000 characters, so read them in order.
  • A grey line under the answer holds the model and how much of the conversation it used.

Photos and menus

  • Chetty reads up to four photos per message, each up to 5 MB. A larger photo is only noted, not read.
  • When Chetty offers choices as a menu, choose within six minutes. After that the menu closes, and you can simply ask again.
  • A photo caption holds 1,024 characters. Anything longer belongs in a separate message.

Files Chetty sends you

Files arrive as documents with their file names kept, up to four per answer and 25 MB each. If one file cannot be delivered, the rest of the files and the answer are not sent and you get a delivery-failure message instead. Ask for a smaller file, or in several messages.

Voice messages

When your administrator turns voice on for you, send a voice note and Chetty answers in text with a spoken reply as well. Recordings up to 25 MB are transcribed; without voice, the note is only mentioned in the conversation.

If it does not work

  • The answer does not arrive. Chetty answers ⚠️ Could not deliver the reply. Please try again. A file was too large for Telegram. Ask for it again in smaller parts.
  • The answer ignores the file. The conversation holds only a line like [Attachment: report.pdf (pdf)]. The file was too large, so send a smaller version.
  • The menu closed. Chetty answers ⏱ This question expired. It stayed unanswered for too long; send the request again.
