Have Chetty look something up on the internet

Some answers are not in your documents: a current form, an office's opening hours, a price. Chetty can search the internet and show you the pages it used.

Before you start

Internet search must be turned on for your account. If Chetty answers that it cannot search, ask your administrator to turn it on.

Ask your question

  1. Open Chat and click New chat.
  2. Write the question as you would ask a colleague. Add the town, the office or the date when they matter.
  3. Say where the answer should come from, for example: "only from the ministry's official pages".
  4. Select Send.

You can also give Chetty one address and ask what stands on the page.

Check the sources

  • The answer usually ends with a list of addresses. Open them and read the same passage.
  • Ask how old the information is: "When was this published?"
  • When the answer stays vague, ask again about one part of it.

If it does not work

  • Chetty says it cannot search the internet. Ask your administrator to turn the search on for your account.
  • The answer has no addresses. Write: "Add the pages you used."
  • An address does not open. Some pages need a sign-in. Ask for another source.
