Get the time right
A reminder must arrive at the hour you mean. That depends on one setting: the time zone the whole Chetty runs in.
Where the time zone comes from
Open Automation and look at the top of the page; the time zone is written beside the page title, for example Europe/Prague. Every reminder on the page reads its hour in that zone.
You cannot change it yourself. If it is not the zone you work in, ask your administrator; the setting applies to everybody, so a change moves other people's reminders too.
Everything you see in the app, including dates in conversations, follows the same zone.
Which times follow the clock
These wait for a time on the clock and use the zone above:
- a reminder set to a date and an hour, such as tomorrow at 9:00;
- a daily or weekly summary, such as every day at 7:30 or every Sunday at 20:00;
- the working-hours window of a task.
An interval is a length of time rather than a time on the clock. Every two hours means two hours after the previous run, whatever the clock says, so it never depends on the zone.
When Chetty was not running
A one-time reminder is not lost. It stays due and comes as soon as Chetty is running again, so you may receive it late rather than not at all.
A regular summary catches up once: the run that was missed during the outage is done afterwards, and then the task continues on its schedule. It does not replay the whole day.
When the clocks change
A summary set to 7:30 stays at 7:30 after the change; you do not have to correct it. The spring change skips an hour, and that hour does not exist that day. A task set inside it is refused when you save it; pick another time.
An hour that the autumn change repeats runs once, not twice.
If a task matters on that particular day, open History after the change and check that it ran.
