See what is new

What's new highlights selected new features and important changes in Chetty. Not every release has a note.

Where to find it

  1. Open What's new in the menu at the bottom left.
  2. Choose the audience: news for you or for developers. Human accounts have both choices; administrators also have administrator news. An empty audience stays available, and a single available audience needs no switch.
  3. Read the cards, newest first, with pinned updates at the top. The newest card in the selected audience opens on each visit, even if already read, alongside every unread card. Older read cards stay closed. An audience with no entries shows an empty-state message. Open or close any card and follow its links to the feature it describes.

What New means

New means a card was unread when you first opened that audience during this visit. Your open and closed cards stay as you chose them when you switch audiences, change language or the page refreshes its data. The New marker stays for this visit, even after the unread count falls.

A card is marked read for your account only when its content has loaded, the card is open in the selected audience and the start of its content appears in the visible page. Opening the page alone does not mark everything read. A collapsed card, an off-screen card or a background browser tab does not count. If saving fails, the card remains unread and the page offers a retry.

The menu count adds unread cards across the audiences available to you. Reading one audience does not clear another, and a colleague reading a card does not clear yours. New publications appear on your next visit instead of moving the cards while you read. Without a signed-in account, the page shows user news only and does not save reading.

Language and images

The page uses your interface language when the complete translation exists; otherwise the whole card uses English. Pictures appear directly with their items.
