Sign in to Chetty with your Microsoft account
If your organization uses Microsoft, you may not need a separate password for Chetty. The login page offers a Microsoft button that signs you in with the same account you use for work mail and Teams.
- Open the Chetty address your administrator gave you.
- On the login page, under the password fields, click Microsoft.
- Choose your work account, for example
jana.novakova@example.com, and confirm the sign-in. - You land in Chetty with your own account, Projects and conversations.
Your organization may also ask for two-step verification; that follows its own rules. When you are already signed in to Microsoft in the same browser, Chetty usually asks for nothing at all.
Open Account → Linked accounts → Microsoft 365 for separate local login/delegated/mailbox facts. Opening the panel does not acquire or refresh a Microsoft token. Explicit To Do, calendar or OneNote checks prove only a small read, not write access, all scopes or a licence; generic 403 is access refused, not a consent diagnosis. To connect or renew delegated Microsoft 365, sign in in your personal Teams chat with the Chetty bot. Personal Email sign-in does not connect the Teams tools. Transcript/Presence opt-in and your own selected-document digest stay only in existing MS Teams → Settings; ordinary accounts never receive instance credential or people-administration controls.
Who creates your account
Signing in with Microsoft does not create a Chetty account by itself. Your administrator decides whether new colleagues get one automatically at their first sign-in, or whether they add each person in advance. Without an account, Chetty stops you with A Chetty account does not exist for this Microsoft account yet. Please ask an administrator to create it. A new account starts with the settings and Projects your organization gives to every new colleague.
Your mailbox in Chetty
If your organization uses the mail feature and your administrator prepared Microsoft mail sign-in:
- Open Email in the left menu.
- Click Add account and choose Microsoft.
- Pick your work account and approve the access to mail that Microsoft asks for.
- Wait for the browser to return to Email; your messages are then in the list.
This connects only your own mailbox; a colleague cannot read it through their account. Repeat the steps for a second mailbox. Personal Microsoft accounts such as @outlook.com are not supported.
