Choose what Chetty shows while it works
While Chetty answers, the chat can show a progress line, every step, or nothing. A busy group usually wants less than a private chat.
Change it in one chat
- Write
/displayin the chat. - Chetty answers with the current setting.
- Pick what You want to change:
- Discord opens a form with four choices. Choose a value and confirm.
- Telegram and Teams show buttons. Tap the one You want.
- Chetty confirms the new setting. It applies to everyone in that chat from then on.
Only the person who looks after the chat may change it. The default for every chat of one app belongs to Your administrator. WhatsApp has no /display, so the administrator's default applies there.
On Discord, Telegram and Teams the four choices have the same names. The app shows them in English.

One more choice
In Discord, Replace tool activity with the answer is off by default. Turned on, the progress message becomes the final answer and the answer is not posted separately.
Try it
Ask Chetty for something that takes a few steps, such as a list of a folder. The progress in that chat follows the choice and the answer still arrives.
If it does not work
/displayis refused. Only the person who looks after the chat may change it. Ask them.- The setting is ignored in one chat. A
/displaychoice for that chat outranks the default. Run/displaythere again. - The answer replaced the progress message. Replace tool activity with the answer is on.
