Use commands in a chat

A command is a short word with a slash. It saves clicking and works in every connected app.

Where to find the commands

  1. Write / in the message field. The app offers the commands it knows.
  2. Send /help. Chetty answers with the list of commands You can use.

The list differs by app and by Your access. A command You may not use does not appear at all.

Start, stop or shorten

Command What it does Who can use it
/new Starts a fresh conversation in this chat. You
/project Moves the conversation into one of Your Projects. You
/fast Turns fast answers on or off for Your account. You
/stop Stops the answer that is being written. Whoever looks after the chat
/compact Shortens a long conversation so more fits in it. Whoever looks after the chat
/stats Shows which model answers and how full the conversation is. Whoever looks after the chat

Settings for the whole chat

A group chat or a channel has one set of settings for everyone. Only a person Your administrator let into the chat settings can change them.

Command What it changes
/model Which model answers here.
/reasoning How long the model thinks before it answers.
/display How much Chetty shows while it works.
/context Continues one of that person's own conversations in this chat.

A change applies to everyone in the chat. Read How the answers look.

Answer a question

Chetty uses what the app offers. Buttons and menus in Discord, buttons in the message in Telegram, cards in Teams, numbered replies in WhatsApp.

  • In Discord, any member who may write here can answer.
  • In Telegram and Teams, only the person asked, or the person who looks after the chat, can answer.
  • In WhatsApp, only the person asked can answer.

Try it

Write /help. The answer lists the commands and shows that Chetty receives Your messages.

If it does not work

  • A command is missing from the list. That app does not offer it, or Your account may not use it. Ask Your administrator.
  • "Only the operator can control the agent here." This command changes the chat for everyone. Only the person who looks after it may use it.
  • A menu stops working. A choice of model, Project or conversation works only on its latest message. Write the command again.
