What's New

The bundled changelog plugin (version 0.1.1) adds a What's new page to the Web UI navigation, also available at /p/changelog. It lists the release notes included with the installed Elowen version, newest first, with pinned notes at the top. Notes arrive with an Elowen upgrade; you cannot edit them from the instance.

The page uses your interface language when a translation is available and otherwise shows English; the shipped translations include Czech and Slovak. Its navigation badge and unread count are per account. Opening the page marks the available notes as read for your account; newer notes are marked as new since your last visit. The page also shows release and unread totals. An operator can mark a release unread for everyone, including later releases. In open mode, where there are no accounts, unread tracking is not shown.

Each note has a version, release date, title, optional tags and a pinned status. The version identifies the release, the date records when it shipped, and the title appears in the release list. Pinned notes appear ahead of the rest, newest first. Notes are read-only and arrive with upgrades. Images support common raster formats; SVG images are not served. The plugin has no settings.

Administrators manage the plugin in Settings → Plugins; select it to open its detail view. Only an administrator can enable or disable it, and it does not need an individual user grant. Enabling or disabling it takes effect after Elowen restarts.
